Target Data Breach: Alerts, Alerts Everywhere and Nary a Drop of Insight
In case you missed it, Bloomberg Businessweek published an in-depth report that describes how Target's security team was alerted to the data breach but did not take action. One wonders how many alerts the Target team received each day. It's a familiar and chilling scenario that points to the need for organizational adjustments to take full advantage of new technology.
